About The Position

Join our team of passionate pediatric healthcare professionals empowering Kidz to be kids through PPEC daily skilled nursing! The Pediatric Nurse is responsible for managing the care of pediatric patients, according to their individual needs and care plan using a multidisciplinary method. The nurse is responsible for direct client care including a holistic approach to the care of children and their families, including educational, psychosocial, behavioral, physical, mental, and emotional care/needs of the child.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current nursing licensure eligible in the state of Kentucky.
• Recent graduate with a provisional license.
• Basic personal computer skills and comfort with learning electronic charting systems.
• Current negative Tuberculosis skin test (PPD) required.
• Current CPR (Basic Life Support) is required.
• Ability to travel between three Louisville Locations.

Nice To Haves

• At least six months of current experience as a practicing nurse with pediatric experience.

Responsibilities
