The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse I (APRN-I) provides comprehensive, evidence-based advanced practice nursing to address the physiologic, psychosocial, and developmental needs of patients and families within the framework of the collaborative practice agreement. The APRN-I participates in beginning leadership, evidenced-based practice/ research, and organizational development activities with the support and direction of an experienced APRN mentor. Requirements

Master's Degree Required and 1-2 years experience Pediatric RN experience. Exceptions considered on a case-by-case basis within preferred specialty.
Licensed RN - MO, Registered Nurse Multistate License Missouri required upon hire
Licensed RN - Kansas, Registered Nurse Multistate License Kansas required upon hire
RN Compact license for all states besides KS and MO
APRN KS Advanced Practice Registered Nurse KS APRN license in Kansas Required Upon Hire
APRN MO Advanced Practice Registered Nurse MO APRN documentation of Recognition in Missouri Required Upon Hire
APRN board certification congruent with population and practice setting (see policy statement: Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Roles and Practice Setting) Required Upon Hire
Acute Care PNP will be required - must enroll in a program within two years of hire and complete the program within 5 years.
