Pediatric Nurse (LPN or RN)

Nurse (LPN/RN) Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse PriMED Physicians is one of Dayton’s largest and fastest growing independent medical groups. We are currently looking for an LPN or RN to fill a Full - time position on our team at our Englewood Pediatric Location. Requirements
- Must have successfully completed an LPN or RN program.
- CPR Certification
- Must be dependable, reliable, and a good role model.
- Must be able to work well under pressure while maintaining quality care and efficient patient flow.
- Ability to work independently in a very fast paced environment.
- Ability to multi-task
- Possess exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Communication and problem-solving skills necessary
- Basic computer skills (EHR experience is a plus!)
Nice To Haves
- Phlebotomy experience preferred.
- EHR experience is a plus!
Responsibilities
- Rooming and evaluating patients
- Taking history
- Performing evaluations such as temperature, height, weight, head circumference, blood pressure, and pulse
- Performing procedures including administering immunizations and flu shots; venipuncture; splinting, O2 saturation, cathing , suctioning and ear irrigation
- Medical chart documentation
- Maintaining medical supplies
- Stocking rooms
- Using sterilization equipment
