Requirements

• Active TX license or IMLC license preferred
• Board Certification in Pediatrics required
• Recent Pediatric experience required (within the past 12 months)
• A minimum of 1 year post-residency clinical experience required

Responsibilities

• 2,000 Deliveries a year in a 16 Bed Nursery
• Supports a Level III NICU
• Neonatologists deliver high risk deliveries
• Primary role is NEWBORN Care and consults (0-2 Newborns in Nursery with a busy ER coverage)
• Responds to PEDS Calls on the floor 50%
• Circumcisions of patients expected
