Inspire health. Serve with compassion. Be the difference. Job Summary The position is responsible for patient assessment, psychological testing and treatment of children, adolescents, and adults. Provides individual, couples, family and group behavioral treatment, patient and community, and student education. Accountabilities Provide individual, couples, family, and group psychotherapy. Utilize independent decision-making in plan of care for therapy services provided. Conduct psychological testing and assessment for designated psychiatric patients. Provide timely professional documentation of psychological testing reports, treatment plans and progress notes. Participate in the training/teaching of students and residents. Works in conjunction with treating psychiatrist and makes appropriate referrals to other professionals or community services as needed. Actively participate in development of psychological services for the Department of Psychiatry, to include community outreach and education Supervisory/Management Responsibility This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive. Requirements

  • Doctorate in Clinical psychology, PhD or PsyD
  • 1 year of Post-doctoral experience in medical setting
  • South Carolina License to Practice Clinical Psychology
  • Team members employed in this job prior to July 1, 2020 are grandfathered under prior educational and experience requirements.
  • In addition, team members must be certification eligible and will have one year to obtain required certification.

Responsibilities
