The Tulane University School of Medicine, in partnership with Manning Family Children's, the leading Pediatric academic medical center in the region, is seeking a Pediatric Neuro-Oncologist to join our expanding Pediatric Hematology-Oncology team. This is a unique opportunity to care for children with CNS tumors in a multidisciplinary environment, to engage in research, and to contribute to the growth of the premier Pediatric Neuro-Oncology and Hematology-Oncology program in Louisiana. There are opportunities for translational and clinical research studies, and involvement in pharmaceutical, cellular therapy, and gene therapy trials. The prospective candidate will join our team of 11 pediatric hematologist-oncologists, variously appointed by Tulane University and/or LSU Health Sciences Center, 5 APPs, 2 oncology pharmacists, 2 social workers and dedicated child life specialists. A Pediatric Hematology-Oncology fellowship program is administered by LSUHSC. The ideal candidate will be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Hematology & Oncology with completion of a one-year Pediatric Neuro-Oncology Fellowship or broad clinical experience in Pediatric Neuro-Oncology. We are actively involved in Children's Oncology Group (COG), Alliance Cancer Trials, and other cooperative networks.
