The AHWFB Pediatric Nephrology Department is seeking a skilled Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP‑AC) or Physician Assistant to join the inpatient team in Winston‑Salem, NC. This Advanced Practice Provider will support a wide range of inpatient and infusion services, including nephrology consults, infusion visits, and care for admitted patients. The role offers opportunities to develop procedural skills and may include providing inpatient coverage for up to two weekends per month in the future. Ideal candidates will have previous experience or training in acute pediatric care and a passion for delivering high‑quality, compassionate care to children with complex nephrology needs across multiple environments of care, with the goal of becoming a Pediatric Nephrology NP. What We Have to Offer: CME Reimbursement: Receive up to $2,500 and 5 additional PTO days/year for Continuing Medical Education. Work/Life Balance: alternate work schedules available (4 ten-hour days, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, or a combination with daytime weekend rounding). No overnight call.
