Pediatric Nephrology Advanced Practice Provider
About The Position
The Division of Pediatric Nephrology at Joe DiMaggio Children?s Hospital is seeking a motivated and dynamic Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join its growing team of providers. The selected candidate will partner with an experienced team of pediatric nephrologists and specialists to provide comprehensive, compassionate care to patients with acute and chronic kidney disorders. Responsibilities include performing inpatient and outpatient consults, evaluating infusion and dialysis patients in the ambulatory clinic, and providing follow-up care. Physician Assistants that have clinical experience with pediatrics are preferred. Candidates must have a national Physician Assistant Certification, or Pediatric or Family Nurse Practitioner Certification. A BLS and PALS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, and a Florida license must be obtained by date of hire. Schedule requirements are Monday thru Friday, 8 AM ? 5 PM, with one weekend a month call coverage. This is a full-time employed position that offers competitive benefits and a compensation package that is commensurate with training and experience. Requirements
- National Physician Assistant Certification, or Pediatric or Family Nurse Practitioner Certification
