About The Position

The West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Pediatrics seek a Pediatric Nephrologist (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Morgantown, WV. Duties: The successful candidate will practice pediatric nephrology and will join our nephrology team of three others, including a pediatric nephrologist, one advanced practice provider, and a nurse coordinator. Additionally, the group has the support of a dietitian, pharmacist, and psychologist. Our team manages inpatient and outpatient dialysis of all forms, runs our ambulatory blood pressure monitoring program, and performs renal biopsies. The group is also closely aligned with our US News and World Report top-50 pediatric urology program. The peds nephrology team has collegial relationships with the neonatologists, hospitalists, and intensivists. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent.
• Eligibility for a state medical license.
• Completion of pediatric residency program.
• Completion of pediatric nephrology fellowship program.
• Board certified/eligible in pediatrics and pediatric nephrology.

Responsibilities
