About The Position

Cook Children’s, based in Fort Worth, Texas, is seeking a pediatric nephrologist interested in providing ongoing PRN coverage with our pediatric nephrology department. We have active kidney transplant, hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, Aquadex, ECMO, and plasma exchange programs. Our service area includes most of North and West Texas as well as portions of Oklahoma and New Mexico, through our main campus in Fort Worth, medical center in Prosper, nine satellite clinic locations, and an active telemedicine program.

Requirements

• Completed an accredited pediatric specialty training program.
• Board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Nephrology.
• Unrestricted Texas Medical License.
• Non-institutional DEA.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing PRN coverage for the pediatric nephrology department.
• Offer a mix of inpatient and outpatient services.
• Provide onsite coverage at the Dodson Specialty Clinic and Cook Children’s Medical Center.
• Collaborate with the current nephrology team for support.
