About The Position
As a Pediatric Medical Assistant at Cline Pediatrics, PA, you will play a crucial role in providing support to our pediatricians and ensuring a smooth and efficient operation within the clinic. Your primary responsibilities will include rooming patients, taking vital signs, and communicating effectively with both patients and clinicians. You will be responsible for gathering health history information from patients to assist in the completion of necessary forms, ensuring that all patient information is handled with the utmost confidentiality in accordance with medical guidelines. In addition to patient interaction, you will prepare treatment rooms to create a conducive environment for doctors to attend to patients. You will guide patients to the lab for tests and ensure that test results are promptly delivered to the pediatrician. Your role will also involve filing patient treatment documents accurately and maintaining organized records. You will assist in scheduling appointments, keeping both patients and doctors informed about any changes or cancellations. Your responsibilities will extend to performing tests and immunizations as directed by the pediatrician, facilitating patient check-ins and check-outs, and supervising cleaning staff to uphold the clinic's hygiene standards. You will also be tasked with inspecting clinic equipment for any damage or malfunctions to prevent disruptions during treatment. Additionally, you will document treatment activities using the clinic's computer system and collect and verify patients' insurance information for claims processing.
