Family First Homecare (FFHC) is seeking compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide high-quality, in-home nursing care to pediatric patients. You’ll deliver one-on-one care where it matters most—in the home, with families who truly appreciate you. You’ll be part of a supportive, collaborative team that looks out for one another and is committed to giving every child the best possible care. Requirements

  • LPN/LVN Nursing Degree
  • Unencumbered LPN/LVN license in the state of employment or multi-state license through the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (where recognized)
  • 1+ year of nursing experience
  • Valid driver’s license with proof of insurance (in applicable states)
  • Clear background screening
  • Working knowledge of Nurse Practice Acts
  • Valid and current CPR card/certificate with in-person, instructor-led hands-on skills check
  • Clear Hep B screening (in applicable states)
  • Clear TB screening (in applicable states)

Nice To Haves

  • Pediatric and/or home care experience
  • Comfort working independently in the home setting

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care based on your licensure/certification and scope of practice
  • Maintain up-to-date clinical records for each patient, meeting documentation deadlines
  • Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of nursing care for patients and families
  • Consult with physicians on changes to patient care plans and report updates to the nurse supervisor
  • Support FFHC’s mission by mentoring/coaching new employees during patient-specific orientations
  • Educate patients and caregivers on care needs and equipment
  • Participate in FFHC’s Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program as requested
  • Continually strive to improve your nursing skills and knowledge
  • Attend/complete all mandatory trainings and in-services
  • Submit required personnel documentation in a timely manner
  • Adhere to FFHC compliance and ethics standards
  • Maintain patient and family confidentiality
  • Demonstrate professional, supportive, and responsive communication
  • Perform other duties as assigned
