Family First Homecare (FFHC) is seeking compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide high-quality, in-home nursing care to pediatric patients. You’ll deliver one-on-one care where it matters most—in the home, with families who truly appreciate you. You’ll be part of a supportive, collaborative team that looks out for one another and is committed to giving every child the best possible care. Requirements
- LPN/LVN Nursing Degree
- Unencumbered LPN/LVN license in the state of employment or multi-state license through the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (where recognized)
- 1+ year of nursing experience
- Valid driver’s license with proof of insurance (in applicable states)
- Clear background screening
- Working knowledge of Nurse Practice Acts
- Valid and current CPR card/certificate with in-person, instructor-led hands-on skills check
- Clear Hep B screening (in applicable states)
- Clear TB screening (in applicable states)
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric and/or home care experience
- Comfort working independently in the home setting
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care based on your licensure/certification and scope of practice
- Maintain up-to-date clinical records for each patient, meeting documentation deadlines
- Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of nursing care for patients and families
- Consult with physicians on changes to patient care plans and report updates to the nurse supervisor
- Support FFHC’s mission by mentoring/coaching new employees during patient-specific orientations
- Educate patients and caregivers on care needs and equipment
- Participate in FFHC’s Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program as requested
- Continually strive to improve your nursing skills and knowledge
- Attend/complete all mandatory trainings and in-services
- Submit required personnel documentation in a timely manner
- Adhere to FFHC compliance and ethics standards
- Maintain patient and family confidentiality
- Demonstrate professional, supportive, and responsive communication
- Perform other duties as assigned
