Pediatric Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
About The Position
Affirmed Home Care is seeking experienced Per Diem Pediatric Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our high-quality clinical team throughout Fairfield County. If you have a passion for pediatric nursing and enjoy building meaningful, long-term relationships with your patients, this role is for you. As an Affirmed Pediatric LPN, you’ll provide one-on-one skilled nursing care to pediatric clients with complex medical needs in the comfort of their homes. Our cases allow you to focus fully on your patient—without the chaos of a facility setting. We are especially interested in nurses with experience caring for medically fragile children, including those requiring tracheostomy and/or ventilator support. Shifts are typically 8–12 hours, offering consistency, flexibility, and the opportunity to truly make an impact.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent pediatric nursing experience (acute care, PICU, NICU, or home care strongly preferred)
- Comfort caring for medically complex pediatric patients
- Willingness to support geriatric cases as needed
- Active Connecticut LPN license
- Current BLS certification
- Eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Valid driver’s license
- Physical exam within the past 12 months
- PPD or QuantiFERON within 1 year, or chest X-ray within 5 years
Nice To Haves
- Trach and Vent experience strongly preferred
