Requirements

• MD or DO
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine
• Hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa
• Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)
• J-1 Waiver Sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Join a well-established, multidisciplinary team consisting of 4 other Pediatric Intensivists, pediatric residents, critical care nurses, respiratory therapists, social workers, dietitians, child life and more.
• Provide care for patients throughout the state of Iowa as part of the Blank Health Provider team comprising 150+ pediatric providers spanning 20 subspecialties.
• Work in an 88-bed facility with a 12 bed PICU unit, close to the Pediatric ER, Adult ICU and surgery.
• Support an ACGME accredited Pediatric Residency Program, which is one of seven residency programs supporting approximately 100 resident physicians each academic year.
