About The Position

This facility is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist Physician for locum tenens support to help cover an ongoing need. The position involves working in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital, primarily during 12-hour shifts that are mostly at night, but there is some flexibility for day shifts. The physician will be responsible for procedures such as resuscitating newborns, including intubation and umbilical line placement. Candidates must be Board Certified and familiar with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), specifically SMR. The credentialing process is expected to take 8-10 weeks.

Requirements

• Board Certified in Pediatrics
• Ability to resuscitate a newborn, including intubation and umbilical line placement
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)

Responsibilities

• Provide locum tenens support as a Pediatric Hospitalist Physician
• Work 12-hour shifts, primarily at night but open to day shifts
