About The Position

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is seeking a full-time Pediatric Hospitalist to join our growing Pediatric Hospital Medicine program at Guerin Children's. We are accepting applications at both the junior and mid-career levels, and have leadership opportunities available for mid-career applicants with interest in administration. Responsibilities include: providing professional physician clinical services on our brand new general pediatrics and mixed subspecialty pediatric med-surg unit training and mentoring our Guerin Children’s pediatric residents and medical students at various levels of training on their inpatient pediatrics rotations leadership potential to enhance unit service delivery in areas such as pediatric inpatient quality and safety Cedars-Sinai Guerin Children’s is a tertiary and quaternary pediatric center advancing an ambitious vision for children’s healthcare thanks to the generosity of the Shapell Guerin Family Foundation and its president, Vera Guerin. Propelled by this historic $100 million gift, Cedars-Sinai Guerin Children’s fills a critical gap in care for young patients in Los Angeles and beyond, providing primary and specialty care for patients as they grow from newborns to adolescents to adults. The pediatric inpatient unit has been newly redesigned to be a state-of-the-art general pediatrics and mixed subspecialty inpatient space with 26 beds, in addition to current pediatric intensive care beds and neonatal intensive care beds. The total pay range shown takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including knowledge/skills; relevant experience and training; education/certifications/licensure; and other business and organizational factors. This total pay range includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role. We also offer a comprehensive faculty benefits package.

Requirements

Medical Degree (or equivalent) from an accredited medical school
Board Certification or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
Ability to obtain an unrestricted California Physician medical license
Eligible for appointment to the appropriate academic rank in the CSMC Professorial Series
Established record of excellence in patient care and teaching
demonstrate the ability to work with a diverse group of hospital and academic department partners using a collaborative approach
