About The Position

Novant Health is looking for a compassionate, caring PRN Pediatric Hematologist Oncologist to join the St Jude Affiliate Clinic at Novant Health Hemby Children's Hospital. Our program includes a team of 6 physicians and 4 advanced practice practitioners, certified pediatric hematology oncology nurses, clinical research associates, a clinical pharmacist, social work, and child life specialists. In addition to being a member of Children's Oncology Group, we are also an enrolling site for St. Jude clinical trials. All physicians see hematology and pediatric cancer diagnoses in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. We are the first federally designated Pediatric Hemophilia Treatment Center in Charlotte, NC and provide comprehensive sickle cell care. The inpatient service is housed within Novant Health Hemby Children's Hospital, which provides robust pediatric subspecialty support including a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Pediatric Emergency Room. Our outpatient clinic recently enjoyed a complete renovation to support the growth of multidisciplinary care programs.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of medicine required.
• Completion of an accredited residency program required.
• Completion of an accredited fellowship program specific to medical specialty for specialty physicians.
• Current MD license in appropriate state.
• Board certification or eligibility.
• Current DEA license required.
