Children’s Mercy (CM ) Kansas City in partnership with Mercy Health Springfield is seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Surgeon to join our Pediatric Surgery practice in Springfield, Missouri . Position offers: Diverse patient population which draws from the third largest city in Missouri Full access to Children’s Mercy colleagues in Kansas City for professional discussions, consultation and collaboration Competitive salary commensurate with education and experience Generous CME and relocation package Teleconferencing for participation in CMH educational activities and conferences About the Division of General Surgery The Division of General Surgery within the Department of Surgery at Children’s Mercy is a leading clinical, teaching, and research program in the United States. The Division is comprised of 8 full time pediatric surgeons and 15 advanced practice providers, delivering care for approximately 7000 clinical visits and performing more than 3000 surgical cases annually. The Division of General Surgery oversees three fellowship programs, including Pediatric Surgery, Surgical Critical Care, and Surgical Scholar, as well as provides training for rotating general surgery residents. The Division of General Surgery provides Medical Leadership to Children’s Mercy Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Program (ACS), Burn Program, and Level 1 Children’s Surgery Program (ACS). Children’s Mercy Kansas City is an independent, non-profit, 390-bed pediatric health system, providing over half a million patient encounters each year for children from across the country.
