About The Position

The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at Duke University School of Medicine seeks a pediatric gastroenterologist with a strong interest in pediatric inflammatory bowel disease. The division is thrilled to announce openings for pediatric gastroenterologists to join our dynamic and growing team. We are currently seeking candidates for two distinct positions: General Community Pediatric Gastroenterology and Neurogastroenterology. Candidates with broad gastroenterology interests are encouraged to apply for the general position, while those with expertise or interest in manometry evaluations are encouraged to apply for the neurogastroenterology position. Eligible candidates must hold an MD, DO, or MD/PhD degree and be board-certified or board-eligible by the American Board of Pediatrics in Pediatric Gastroenterology.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive care for pediatric gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic, and nutritional disorders.
  • Engage in multidisciplinary clinical teams collaborating with other divisions such as Pediatric Surgery and Transplant Surgery.
  • Participate in state-of-the-art diagnostic procedures and therapeutic services for common and rare pediatric gastroenterology diseases.
