About The Position

Children’s Minnesota is seeking a pediatric endocrinologist to join our dynamic and well-established team of 12 pediatric endocrinologists and 9 pediatric nurse practitioners. Our team provides comprehensive care for a broad range of pediatric endocrine disorders, serving both inpatients and outpatients across our five clinics and two hospitals in St. Paul and Minneapolis. The position offers a blend of outpatient and inpatient care, managing a broad spectrum of pediatric endocrine disorders. An interest in treating rare and complex conditions is strongly preferred. The endocrine group is active in several multi-disciplinary clinics, including gender health, VCF, and neuro-oncology. Supporting staff includes certified diabetic educators, registered dieticians, social workers, child life specialists, and medical assistants. Opportunities for clinical research and teaching are available if interested.

Requirements

• M.D., D.O., or equivalent degree from another country.
• Board BE/BC in Pediatric Endocrinology.
• Completion of an ACGME Accredited Fellowship program in pediatric endocrinology.
• Medical Licensure in the State of Minnesota or the ability to obtain one.
• Ability to be successfully credentialed by both Hospital and 3rd Party Payer.
• Clinical competency and expertise in caring for hospitalized children.
• Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics.
• Knowledge of common medication, side effects and contraindications.
• In-depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and medicine best practices.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
