Requirements

  • MD/DO degree
  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Endocrinology
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other professionals
  • Strong telemedicine skills and comfort with this mode of medical care

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care services on an inpatient and outpatient basis.
  • Conduct subspecialty consultations and follow-up care.
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic services/procedures as necessary.
  • Provide urgent/emergent care when required.
  • Strive to achieve the best patient and family-centered care.
  • Support hospital's patient satisfaction goals and division-specific targets.
  • Adhere to divisional patient safety and quality of care standards.
  • Practice contemporary evidence-based medicine.
  • Establish and demonstrate effort to achieve annual physician goals and objectives.
  • Support medical education programs and activities of the division.
  • Supervise trainees and allied health care professionals in service delivery.
  • Conduct teaching rounds, lectures, and conferences for trainees.
  • Participate in postgraduate continuing educational activities of the division.
  • Support research initiatives within the division.
  • Promote programmatic growth of the division.
  • Support satellite efforts of the division when appropriate.
  • Treat colleagues and customers with courtesy, dignity, and respect.
  • Promote a safe and professional healthcare environment.
  • Support the mission, vision, and values of Phoenix Children's.
