Akron Children's Hospital is dedicated to building a diverse workforce that reflects our patient population and the communities we serve. The Endocrinology team consists of 9 pediatric endocrinologists, 6 certified nurse practitioners, and a comprehensive diabetes management team. The Center for Diabetes and Endocrinology provides comprehensive care for all aspects of endocrine disorders and Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes, along with specialized programs and clinics including Turner Syndrome Program, Thyroid Disorders Clinic, Survivors of Childhood Cancers and Brain Tumors, Gender Affirming Care, Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, and Neurofibromatosis 1. This position is a 501(c)(3) site which qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness through the Federal government.
