About The Position

Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Children's Hospital is seeking a full-time Neurodevelopmental or Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician to serve as Chief of the Division in a newly established and rapidly expanding department. The role involves leading a team that includes a neurodevelopmental pediatrician, nurse practitioners, a pediatric psychologist, and a social worker, while also collaborating with therapists and a neuropsychology team to provide comprehensive care for children with various developmental needs.

Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Pediatrics.
  • Completion of an ACGME or AOA residency and fellowship.
  • Unrestricted Florida medical license (or ability to obtain one).
  • DEA MD/DO.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a leadership role within a pediatric setting.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record systems, particularly Epic.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Division of Neurodevelopmental and Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics.
  • Oversee clinical operations and ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychologists, social workers, and therapists.
  • Provide evaluations and treatment for children with developmental disorders.
  • Engage in clinical decision-making and improve patient outcomes.
