Our providers (and tooth fairies) work in pediatric settings and as part of a highly collaborative, interdisciplinary team , including close coordination with our general anesthesia team at the Dental Specialty Center of PA , allowing for comprehensive care for patients with a wide range of needs. Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited Pediatric Dentistry Residency, or current enrollment with expected graduation in 2026
  • Current Pennsylvania dental license or eligibility to obtain one

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments, including screening, diagnosis, and treatment planning
  • Perform pediatric dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, pulpotomies, frenectomies, and sealants, ensuring patient comfort and safety
  • Educate children and parents on preventive care and effective oral hygiene practices
  • Collaborate with orthodontists, specialists, and healthcare providers as needed to deliver comprehensive care
  • Stay current with advancements in pediatric dentistry through continuing education
  • Create a welcoming, fear-free environment using behavior management techniques and sedation when appropriate
