About The Position

Must Love Kids is a modern, patient-centered pediatric dental practice dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care in a fun and welcoming environment. Our team is committed to creating positive dental experiences for children while educating families on lifelong oral health. The practice culture is collaborative, supportive, and focused on clinical excellence and kindness. We are seeking a motivated and clinically confident Pediatric Dentist to join our growing team on a full-time, five-day-per-week schedule. The ideal candidate has a strong passion for pediatric dentistry, excellent communication skills, and a desire to build long-term relationships with patients and families. A minimum of two years of pediatric dental experience is strongly preferred.

Requirements

  • Active and unrestricted Washington State dental license in good standing
  • Eligibility to practice pediatric dentistry in the State of Washington
  • Compliance with all Washington State Department of Health rules and regulations
  • Current BLS certification; PALS certification required
  • Appropriate sedation permits if administering minimal, moderate, or deep sedation
  • DDS or DMD from a CODA-accredited dental school
  • Completion of an accredited pediatric dentistry residency program
  • Minimum of two years of clinical pediatric dentistry experience preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment and pediatric behavior management skills
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities
  • Commitment to ethical practice and continued professional development

Nice To Haves

  • Board Certified or Board-Eligible with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry
  • Experience with sedation dentistry and pediatric behavior management techniques
  • Familiarity with Medicaid and PPO insurance plans

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive pediatric dental care, including preventive, restorative, and behavior-guided dentistry
  • Diagnose oral conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Treat infants, children, adolescents, and patients with special health care needs
  • Communicate diagnoses and treatment options clearly and compassionately to parents and guardians
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records and clinical documentation
  • Collaborate with doctors, hygienists, and support staff to deliver exceptional patient experiences
  • Adhere to all state regulations, OSHA standards, and infection control protocols
