Requirements

• Active DC Dental Assistant Level II license (required)
• 2+ years of dental assisting experience (pediatric experience strongly preferred)
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate chairside manner
• Ability to stay organized and efficient in a busy clinical environment
• A reliable, team-oriented professional who values quality care

Responsibilities

• Provide confident chairside assistance during pediatric dental procedures
• Create a calm, reassuring experience for children and families
• Take digital X-rays and maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Prepare treatment rooms and follow strict sterilization protocols
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-volume pediatric setting
