About The Position

We are looking for a full-time Pediatric Dental Assistant to add to our team. We are an amazing pediatric practice with state-of-the-art technology. We are looking for a confident Dental Assistant who is caring, compassionate, and loves working with kids. Must be clinically experienced, demonstrates a positive attitude, interpersonal skills, strong work ethic & takes initiative to ensure every patient's visit is a 5-star visit. Salary commensurate with experience. Candidates must be a certified DA in FL with an x-ray license for FL to be considered. Hours: Tues-Thursday 8:45-5pm and Friday's 7:45-2pm. Position Overview: As a Dental Assistant you are an integral part of care team in providing support to the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment. Requirements

X-ray & CDA certified in FL
Experience working as a Dental Assistant
Dental Assistant are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.

Responsibilities

Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations..
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed)
Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.
