About The Position

Keystone Pediatric Dentistry is seeking a Dental Assistant for our growing practice located in Medina, OH. A successful candidate will have a friendly disposition and the desire to work with children of all ages and abilities. Our fun, nurturing office creates positive dental experiences for young patients and their families. Experience is preferred, but not required, we will train the right person for the position. If you’re passionate about pediatric care, love working with kids, and want to be part of a practice that truly values compassion and fun, we’d love to meet you! This position will be 30-34 hours per week and compensation will be commensurate with experience.

Requirements

• Previous dental assisting experience preferred (pediatric experience is a big plus!)
• X-ray certification (Ohio radiology license) required or obtainable quickly
• Current CPR certification
• Strong communication skills and genuine love for working with children and families
• Patient, calm demeanor – ability to put nervous kids at ease is essential
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, and professional

Responsibilities

• Assist chairside during examinations, cleanings, sealants, fillings, extractions, and other pediatric procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments
• Take digital radiographs
• Provide patient education and chairside support to help children feel comfortable and relaxed
• Help create a warm, positive, and fun environment for anxious or special-needs patients
