Requirements

  • Eager to learn and expand both clinical and administrative skills
  • Flexible, adaptable, and energized by a fast-paced workflow
  • Comfortable working with children and families
  • A strong communicator and dependable team player
  • High school diploma or GED
  • X-ray certification
  • CPR certification

Nice To Haves

  • 1–2 years of dental assisting experience preferred
  • Coronal Polishing certification (preferred)
  • Expanded Duties DA is a bonus
  • Experience in dental front office or willingness to learn

Responsibilities

  • Chairside assisting during restorative treatments
  • Taking radiographs
  • Placing fillings (if applicable)
  • Performing coronal polishing (if applicable)
  • Charting during hygiene visits
  • Managing sterilization & maintaining a clean, safe clinical environment
  • Checking patients in/out
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Verifying insurance & collecting co-pays
  • Assisting with phones and patient communication
  • Supporting office flow during peak times
