Requirements
- Eager to learn and expand both clinical and administrative skills
- Flexible, adaptable, and energized by a fast-paced workflow
- Comfortable working with children and families
- A strong communicator and dependable team player
- High school diploma or GED
- X-ray certification
- CPR certification
Nice To Haves
- 1–2 years of dental assisting experience preferred
- Coronal Polishing certification (preferred)
- Expanded Duties DA is a bonus
- Experience in dental front office or willingness to learn
Responsibilities
- Chairside assisting during restorative treatments
- Taking radiographs
- Placing fillings (if applicable)
- Performing coronal polishing (if applicable)
- Charting during hygiene visits
- Managing sterilization & maintaining a clean, safe clinical environment
- Checking patients in/out
- Scheduling appointments
- Verifying insurance & collecting co-pays
- Assisting with phones and patient communication
- Supporting office flow during peak times
