- Previous Oral Surgery and General Anesthesia experience a plus!
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during generalized pediatric dental procedures, including general anesthesia.
- Clean the patient’s teeth.
- Fluoride application
- Take, expose and develop digital radiographs and 3D oral scanning.
- Provide hygiene and diet education.
- Take impressions.
- Schedule follow-up exams.
- Review schedule to make sure appointments are scheduled appropriately.
- Set-up and tear down dental chairs and operatory rooms.
- Parents consults-discuss treatment plans.
- Clean and sterilize instruments.
- Lab work.
- Restock supplies in rooms and sterilization area.
- Infection control & maintenance of OSHA guidelines.
- Participate in marketing endeavors
- Write letters to be sent to referrals.
