About The Position

The University of Rochester is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) for a full-time position in the Pediatric Surgical Nursing department. This role involves supporting standards of care and providing consultation and expertise in patient care delivery within an outpatient setting. The ANM will be responsible for monitoring daily unit operations, staffing, and facilitating clinical care for patients undergoing catheterization and electrophysiologic procedures. The position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a commitment to leadership in a busy procedural area. The ANM will lead a diverse team of techs and nurses, participate in performance improvement initiatives, and contribute to the management of human resources, including orientation and mentoring of staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited Nursing Program.
• Active New York State nursing license in good standing.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of Acute RN experience.
• Recent formal leadership experience (Assistant Nurse Manager or equivalent).

Responsibilities
