Role Description Your North Star: Provide direct patient care and clinical oversight that optimizes outcomes through population-based implementation of evidence-based care. In this role you will: Be accountable for improving clinical outcomes for empaneled pediatric patients by overseeing their medical care Engage directly in patient care as a Pomelo provider providing care for acute issues as well as ongoing health education and care coordination Identify and utilize cross-functional team members to address patient needs Review complex patient cases, particularly for infants who are in or transitioning home from the NICU, develop care plans, and support other members of the clinical team in providing them with evidence-based care Monitor adverse events and hold clinical reviews to identify areas for improvement in Pomelo’s protocols Lead development and review of evidence-based medical protocols and algorithms related to pediatric care Actively participate in on-call schedules including overnight and on weekends as needed
