HCA HealthONE Rocky Mountain Children’s is seeking a full-time Pediatric Cardiothoracic Surgery Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our growing Congenital Heart Center. This is a unique opportunity to work with a high-performing, multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering exceptional care to children with congenital heart disease—all in the heart of Denver, Colorado.

Perform comprehensive assessments and risk stratification
Coordinate with surgical, anesthesia, cardiology, and ICU teams
Educate families on procedures, expectations, and recovery
Ensure completion of documentation, labs, imaging, and consents
Provide intraoperative support and first assist during surgery as credentialed
Assist with positioning, sterile prep, and procedural setup
Communicate updates to families during surgery
Manage chest tubes, wounds, and lines as credentialed
Monitor for complications and collaborate with the surgical team
Support discharge planning, education, and follow-up care
Flexibility for rotating shifts, weekends, and on-call coverage

Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
Current licensure and certification (BLS and PALS required; ACLS preferred)
Strong clinical judgment and procedural skills
Excellent communication and teamwork in high-acuity settings
Commitment to family-centered, trauma-informed care

experience in pediatric cardiology, CICU, and/or cardiothoracic surgery
