The Department of Pediatrics at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and The Division of Cardiology at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago seeks a full-time non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor. Responsibilities include serving as an attending physician in the Heart Failure and Heart Transplant program, providing comprehensive care for children with advanced heart failure, cardiomyopathies, and pre- and post-heart transplant patients. The position involves managing patients on mechanical circulatory support devices including ventricular assist devices (VADs), evaluating and optimizing transplant candidates, providing long-term follow-up care for heart transplant recipients, and coordinating multidisciplinary care with cardiac surgery, infectious disease, and other subspecialties. The candidate will supervise and train cardiology fellows in advanced heart failure management, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and collaborate on clinical research projects.
