About The Position

UW Health Kids is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as a Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer working at American Family Children’s Hospital in Madison, WI. 100% FTE, 40 hours per week, day shift, Monday – Friday, 8- or 10-hour shifts, with rotating evening/weekend call responsibility with 1-hour response time. It is also home to our Level One Pediatric Trauma Center and Level IV NICU, which cares for the tiniest patients throughout Wisconsin and beyond.

Requirements

• Completion of a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CHAAHEP) approved ultrasound program
• Associate Degree in Biological Sciences, Radiology, Ultrasound, or relevant health sciences field
• Registered in Adult Echocardiography (AE)
• Basic Life Support/CPR

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Ultrasound, Radiology, Biological Sciences, or relevant health sciences field
• Pediatric echocardiography experience
• 2 years of progressively responsible experience in a lab performing echocardiography testing
• Pediatric Echocardiography (PE)
• Fetal Echocardiography (FE)
