Pediatric Cardiac Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Vanderbilt University Medical Center $50,000 Signing Bonus Relocation Incentive Available The Pediatric Cardiac Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist administers general, regional and monitored anesthesia care for scheduled and emergency surgical and obstetrical procedures. Performs anesthesia-related procedures at the discretion of and under the supervision of an attending anesthesiologist. Evaluates patients preoperatively and, in consultation with the attending anesthesiologist, formulates and carries out an anesthesia care plan including monitoring and recording patient reaction to anesthesia and modifying the anesthetic plan accordingly. Safely transports patients to and from an anesthetizing location and ensures appropriate care during the postoperative period. Supervises, instructs, and counsels student nurse anesthetists to ensure patient safety.
