Under the general supervision of Pediatric Nursing Leadership, the Pediatric Behavioral Interventionist is responsible for the safety and implementation of therapeutic intervention and programming of the assigned patient(s). Works with other members of the multidisciplinary team, through an integrative care approach, develops a daily schedule, implements behavior plans, and establishes a therapeutic environment for those in their care. In accordance with various state and federal regulatory requirements the Pediatric Behavioral Interventionist is also responsible for implementation, observation, and documentation of this program the care provided under the direction of the multidisciplinary team.
