Job Summary The Audiologist provides complete diagnostic audiologic evaluations and implements appropriate treatment plans. Requirements

  • Minimum one year of clinical experience.
  • Doctorate degree in Audiology or Prior to January 1, 2008, hold a master’s degree or equivalent in audiology from an accredited educational institution.
  • Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others from all cultural linguistic and socioeconomic backgrounds in an empathic and confidential manner; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; collaborate and accept direction; use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone; think critically; manage multiple assignments effectively; organize and prioritize workload; work well under pressure and deadlines; problem solve; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail; work independently with minimal supervision.
  • California Audiology license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Nice To Haves

  • Doctorate degree in Audiology.
  • Conversational fluency in sign language or a second language, particularly Spanish or Vietnamese.
  • California Dispensing Audiology license.

Responsibilities
