Coordinate the management of pediatric auditory and vestibular disorders. Diagnoses and treats the patient's hearing and balance problems, using advanced technology and procedures. Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm In a Pediatric Audiologist career with LVHN, you’ll experience:

Responsibilities

  • Conduct and interpret diagnostic testing and comprehensive audiologic evaluations.
  • Counsel patients regarding hearing aids and provides hearing aid evaluations and fittings.
  • Investigate and study the underlying causes, precipitating factors, and symptomatic behavior of impaired speech patterns.
  • Monitor condition of equipment and calls appropriate repair/maintenance personnel when necessary.
  • Evaluate hearing disorders to determine diagnoses and courses of treatment.
  • Evaluate psychological information to measure the impact of hearing loss on a patient.
  • Conduct research related to the causes and treatment of hearing and balance disorders.
  • Attend meetings related to patient diagnostic evaluation, treatment and contributes to discussion as an interdisciplinary team member.
