Position Details: Title: Pediatric Audiologist Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm As part of the Driscoll family, you will provide life-changing care to children by diagnosing and treating hearing disorders. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, work in both outpatient and inpatient settings, and play a vital role in supporting the auditory health of South Texas’ youngest residents.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or doctoral degree (Au.D. or Ph.D.) in Audiology.
  • Current Texas Licensure as an Audiologist.
  • CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire).
  • Strong flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of a dynamic environment.

  • ENT clinic exposure

Responsibilities

  • Perform behavioral evaluations, including VRA, play, and conventional audiometry.
  • Administer ABRs in inpatient and outpatient settings (Natural Sleep, Sedation, Anesthesia)
  • Dispense and manage amplification devices including hearing aids, bone conduction hearing devices, and cochlear implants.
  • Support ENT clinic and other specialty clinics
  • Provide education to families and other professionals
  • Maintain detailed clinical documentation and comply with the newborn hearing screening program requirements.
  • Actively participate in team meetings, process improvement initiatives, and community outreach.
