Coordinate the management of pediatric auditory and vestibular disorders. Diagnoses and treats the patient's hearing and balance problems, using advanced technology and procedures. In a Pediatric Audiologist career with LVHN, you'll experience: Conduct and interpret diagnostic testing and comprehensive audiologic evaluations. Counsel patients regarding hearing aids and provides hearing aid evaluations and fittings. Investigate and study the underlying causes, precipitating factors, and symptomatic behavior of impaired speech patterns. Monitor condition of equipment and calls appropriate repair/maintenance personnel when necessary. Evaluate hearing disorders to determine diagnoses and courses of treatment. Evaluate psychological information to measure the impact of hearing loss on a patient. Conduct research related to the causes and treatment of hearing and balance disorders. Attend meetings related to patient diagnostic evaluation, treatment and contributes to discussion as an interdisciplinary team member.

  • Master's Degree in Audiology
  • 1 year experience in an audiology setting/will accept CCC as 1 year of experience
  • Ability to conduct assessments and provide treatment interventions.
  • Ability to build comprehensive reports and effectively convey information to others.
  • Knowledge of contemporary audiology practices.
  • Skill to identify and treat hearing and other auditory disorders.
  • Licensed Audiologist - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire
