About The Position

Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Children’s Hospital is seeking an Allergy & Immunology Pediatrician to join its expanding division, which specializes in treating patients with complex inborn errors of immunity. The role focuses on both outpatient and occasional inpatient care, with a strong emphasis on clinical immunology and the expansion of the Allergy clinic.

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree
• Completion of an ACGME or AOA Pediatric Residency and Allergy & Immunology Fellowship
• Board Certified or Board-Eligible by the American Board of Allergy & Immunology (ABAI)
• Unrestricted FL Medical License (or the ability to obtain one)
• DEA certification

Nice To Haves

• Strong interest in Clinical Immunology
• Interest in conducting research
• Desire to develop in-house laboratory testing capabilities

Responsibilities

• Diagnosis and treatment of patients with primary immunodeficiencies
• Diagnosis and treatment of patients with serious or unusual allergy manifestations
• Patient care in the inpatient and outpatient setting
• Teaching pediatric residents and subspecialty fellows
• Interpreting Pulmonary Function Tests
• Conducting skin pricks and intradermal testing
• Performing drug desensitization procedures
