About The Position
The position involves interpreting physician referrals and completing evaluations in various areas including musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary, and integumentary systems. The individual will establish a plan of care based on evaluation results and functional goals, monitor and evaluate treatment outcomes, and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Responsibilities also include planning for patient discharge, providing written home programs, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure optimal patient care. Documentation of patient care, maintaining productivity standards, and adhering to billing policies are also key responsibilities. The role requires participation in performance improvement activities and professional growth through continuing education. Supervision of physical therapy assistants and students may also be part of the role.
