About the position

The PEBU ERS Reliability Maximo Subject Matter Expert (SME) is responsible for leading the execution of Asset Management and Reliability best practices within the organization. This role involves maximizing the functionality of the Maximo system to support asset decisions from design to decommissioning, while collaborating with various teams to ensure effective maintenance strategies and data management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and support for managing and recording work done on production equipment in the Maximo system.
• Assist the region in deploying best practices for planning, scheduling, executing, documenting, and closing work on production equipment.
• Develop and deliver workshops on Work Execution Management processes and methods.
• Work effectively within the Production Engineering team to evaluate Production Equipment performance and design.
• Benchmark best practices in Work Execution Management and incorporate them into Honda's processes.
• Generate Maximo Change Requests to align the system with Reliability Engineering processes.
• Support and develop the Business Planning process and budgeting for Reliability Engineering.
• Present improvement proposals and process changes to the ERS Committee for feedback and consensus.

Requirements

• Technical college/degree (minimum associates degree or equivalent) or military technical training.
• 6+ years of maintenance or engineering experience with 2 years in a leadership role.
• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Current industry certification minimum CRL or equivalent (e.g., CMRP, CMRT, CAMA).
• Proficiency in MS Office and understanding of Asset Management practices and KPIs.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for providing asset management expertise across NA Honda sites.
• Experience in planning and scheduling.
• Knowledge in PM and Job plan development.
• Familiarity with MRO practices.
• Experience with Maximo EAM.
