Peanut Butter Packer
About The Position
The Peanut Butter Packer will be responsible for maintaining work areas clean and organized during each production run. He/She will be responsible to help machine operator set up and monitor all machines and equipment and recognize product being ran and compare versus the order according to requirements. Ensures that all supplies needed are in accordance with order being ran during each production run and changeover. Performs all these activities in compliance with companys personnel safety, food safety, food defense and food quality systems.
Requirements
- Basic math, reading skills, good communication skills, written and oral.
- Must be able to work rotating shifts
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Self-learner and ability to multi task
- Able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs and 50 lbs with assistance.
- Able to operate a pallet jack and safely move up to 2000 lbs of product.
- Sufficient manual dexterity to operate properly
- Must be able to stand, walk, work in an environment where stooping, twisting and bending are frequent up to 10 hrs.
- Positive attitude; team player.
- Proactive, disciplined and organized.
Responsibilities
- Work with operator when requesting product based on work order specification.
- Meets or exceeds established production run rates and Quality process indicators.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor and lead
- Must communicate with shift supervisor for production results and any unforeseen situations.
- Must be able to follow up and resolve issues that occur during each production run
- Notifies lead of recurring equipment malfunction.
