Peace Meal Driver
About The Position
Peace Meal Driver prepares materials, loads, and delivers food items to communities from the central kitchen. Coordinates daily with the Kitchen Supervisor for correct number of meals and proper loading. Assist with meal preparation and cleaning of kitchen. Delivers Peace Meal home delivered meals in Herrick and surrounding areas. Requires a reliable vehicle. Department: Peace Meal Hours: Per Diem: 17.5 hours a week required Not benefit eligible. Required: IL Drivers License Pay: Starting at $16.14 an hour. - Automobile Insurance - Sarah Bush Lincoln

- Food Handlers Certificate within 30 Days - Sarah Bush Lincoln
Responsibilities
- Assists in general kitchen responsibilities such as food preparation, food storage and cleaning as directed by the Kitchen Supervisor.
- Gathers and packs appropriate items for delivery, including milk, bulk food, packaged food, supplies, paperwork and other items as directed by Kitchen Supervisor.
- Loads items in vehicle in appropriate order for delivery.
- Provides general cleaning of food carriers, vehicle and storage area.
