Peace Meal Driver (Toledo)
About The Position
Peace Meal Driver prepares materials, loads, and delivers food items to communities from the central kitchen. Coordinates daily with the Kitchen Supervisor for correct number of meals and proper loading. Assist with meal preparation and cleaning of kitchen. Department: Peace Meal Hours: Part-Time, 20 hours a week required Shift: 9:30am to 1:30pm; Monday - Friday. Location: Toledo Based: Delivers meals from Toledo Peace Meal Kitchen in Cumberland and Clark counties. Required: Valid IL Driver's License and Automobile Insurance. Food Handlers Certificate within 30 days of hire. Pay: Starts at $16.14/hour Responsibilities Assists in general kitchen responsibilities such as food preparation, food storage and cleaning as directed by the Kitchen Supervisor., Gathers and packs appropriate items for delivery, including milk, bulk food, packaged food, supplies, paperwork and other items as directed by Kitchen Supervisor., Loads items in vehicle in appropriate order for delivery., Provides general cleaning of food carriers, vehicle and storage area.
