About The Position
Under the supervision of the Head of Security for the Peabody Museum, the Security Officer 1 is an essential employee on the museum floor who enforces the museum's policies and procedures with respect to the operation, security, and safety of the museum, its possessions, and occupants. Ensures the safety of visitors, staff, and collections while contributing to create a welcoming environment. Provides high level support for the necessary security monitoring of museum spaces, collections, exhibits. Responds to and documents all security incidents and emergencies.
