Role Mission: IDEA Physical Education teachers d eliver high-quality PE instruction daily in non-traditional spaces (e.g., outdoors, cafetoriums , shared multipurpose rooms) while maintaining safety, engagement, and strong routines. IDEA Physical Education teachers i mplement technology into PE spaces; such as - Interactive Health Technologies (IHT) heart-rate technology and the district’s structured curriculum every day to drive fitness-based student achievement and goal setting. All physical education teachers are responsible for ensuring that every IDEA student masters personal and social responsibility, self-directed learning, and the problem-solving skills necessary to succeed in college. IDEA Physical Education teachers p lan for and track Moderate to Vigorous Physical Activity (MVPA) as a core instructional outcome for all classes, even with facility and equipment constraints. IDEA Physical Education teachers c ollaborate with campus teams to share space, manage student transitions, and support campus culture (e.g., crisis response and discipline as assigned). What We Offer Compensation: The starting teacher salary for 0 years of experience is $57,500 . This role is eligible for various stipends based on certifications, credentials, and campus leadership ranging from $500-$4,000 each. We also offer additional performance-based compensation. Additional hourly compensation is provided for after school tutoring or Saturday school as assigned.
