About The Position

IHA seeks a passionate and dedicated Physical Education Teacher to create a positive, active learning environment while delivering high-quality instruction in physical education.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, or related field (or equivalent teaching experience)
• Valid state teaching license preferred
• 1-3 years of teaching experience preferred
• Strong classroom management and differentiated instruction skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lesson plans
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
• Utilize formative & summative assessments to track student progress
• Differentiate instruction for diverse learning needs
• Communicate regularly with parents & colleagues
• Support students academically & socially through individualized instruction
• Participate in professional development & school events
